Pure Swindon joined the annual Midlands golf event with Leamington, Warwick and Oldbury, then had the audacity to win the 2018 title!
The 2018 event was once again hosted at Leamington and County Golf Club and although the weather was extremely hot, all 16 players enjoyed the course and competition.
As usual, the players were looked after by Kate, Jess and for the first time Nina from Swindon with cold drinks, chocolate and biscuits.
The Swindon team made up of Paul, Jon, Stuart and Phillip scored 98 points just pipping the Leamington team of Roger, Alex, Alan and Phil. Oldbury came a close 3rd and Warwick a very close 4th. A special mention to Alex who was the first lady to play in the tournament, traditionally dominated by men!
