One of the unique things about being a client with Pure Offices is that as a company they like to do various things throughout the year to give something back to their clients as a thank you for their continued business.
Leeds Thorpe Park love the opportunity to do anything for their clients and so this summer decided to throw a free hog roast for everyone! We set the date (Thursday 19th July), we organised the food, prepared the drinks and waited for the day to roll around. Happy Hogs Catering supplied a pig big enough to feed an army and we supplied enough drinks to sink a ship, so what more do you need for a good party!
The outdoor-bred hog roast came with crackling, apple sauce and stuffing, all piled high in a fluffy bread cake. We also made sure any/all dietary requirements were taken care of as a vegan chilli and veggie sausages were available too. The team at Thorpe Park dragged any item of furniture they could outside to enable everyone to make the most of the glorious weather we have been having, and it made for a fantastic atmosphere. Clients from different companies were all mingling together with their free lunch and drink, and it was great to see.
The Pure Offices team were also grateful of a little bit of downtime with their customers, as it doesn’t happen as much as they would like it to. The party began at 12 noon, and the food and drink were all but gone by 2pm, so whilst it wasn’t the longest of celebrations everyone still left with smiling faces and full belly’s.
The feedback from the event has been fantastic too. So many people have gone out of their way to email or say their thanks, which really makes it all worthwhile. We can’t wait to do it again next summer, and let’s hope the weather is just as good!
