Pure Offices Leamington Spa is home to a rapidly growing networking solutions company. Business is booming for Emerald IT, which launched in April last year, and Pure is happy to be able to provide them with serviced offices.
Emerald IT specialises in IT network support, network security, and document management services, addressing the needs of small and medium sized businesses throughout the UK. MD Darren Windrum explains that whilst the company initially focused on the Midlands, he now has clients stretching from the Lake District to Brighton.
Darren describes his company as ‘an all-in-one one-stop shop’ for all things network-related. Emerald is no ordinary networking solutions company - its aim is to deal with every element of a business’s networking requirements, from maintenance and security to mobiles and photocopiers. Many SME’s don’t really know themselves what sort of solutions they need, so Emerald takes care of everything: infrastructure, hardware, software, comms, and document management, to name but a few.
You won’t find a single filing cabinet in Emerald’s offices, and reams of paperwork are a thing of the past. That’s because Emerald has found a greener way to store documents. All paperwork is scanned, filed, and securely stored on servers using DocuWare. The company encourages others to do the same, and offers this as one of their many services.
Darren moved his company into Pure Offices in Leamington last February. He says, “I wanted to be in a bustling environment, surrounded by other businesses. It’s so important that I can bring clients into a comfortable atmosphere with a professional image. The rates were well within our price range, and the motorway access and parking make life so much easier for employees and clients.”
But what really stood out about Pure, he explains, was the fact that every unit has its own network switch and static IP - something that many serviced offices don’t offer. This is crucial for an IT company like Emerald. It means they can run their own in-house network and internal servers without the need for extra BT lines with inflexible long-term contracts.
Darren has recently taken on two new staff, and plans on hiring two more in the near future. He’s confident that Emerald will grow and grow, and plans on filling his existing office space then leasing some more.
