Construction’s a breeze for Croydon recruitment consultants
18/10/10
Davis House serviced offices in Croydon are home to Breeze Southern, a construction-focused recruitment consultancy that covers contract staffing and permanent placements nationwide.
Breeze Southern’s parent company, Breeze City, has been successfully placing high-calibre candidates into the construction industry since 2003, from plasterers and electricians to senior executives and company directors.
The company set up a new hub in Croydon last year - Breeze Southern. Under Director Simon Brady the new business has seen steady growth, and both Simon and Managing Director Matthew Hartie are confident that Breeze Southern will continue to go from strength to strength. “The outlook is extremely healthy, and we have aggressive plans for growth,” says Matthew.
The Croydon-based company covers all types of search - Retained, Contingency, Project, Global, and Advertised - meaning clients can always find the perfect solution to suit their staffing needs. And in contrast to many recruitment agencies, Breeze Southern’s consultants aim to deliver a few well-chosen candidates, not a stack of untested resumés. Quality over quantity seems to be the order of the day for Breeze.
There’s good news for candidates too - Breeze Southern’s recruiters make a real effort to get to know candidates and their goals so they can put the right people in the right jobs. Career planning services are also on offer, from CV-writing to interview preparation to advice on how to resign.
Breeze Southern moved into Davis House business centre in Croydon last year, having considered a number of serviced offices. Matthew explains that the choice of office space was primarily based on cost and value for money. “Davis House was just what we were after,” he says. “We also really liked the business centre’s aesthetic location and the contemporary decor of the offices.”
