Business as blues-ual at Pure Leamington

Pure Offices in Leamington Spa are proud to play host to The Assured Group.
Assured offer an impressive range of car-valeting and related services. Vehicle preparation, driving services, delivery and collection, facilities cleaning and professional retail hand car washes are all in a day’s work. Assured’s David Bristow moved into the serviced offices in Tachbrook Park last Christmas, following a fire at the previous premises.
And it’s not only his business he’s brought with him. David is a successful blues musician, and can be found most lunchtimes singing and playing his guitar in the Pure Offices car park. He had played before, but gave up until eight years ago when his interest was re-kindled. Since then his talent and his love for the blues have only increased - his first album, Junkyard Blues, was a great success, and his most recent, Better The Devil You Know, was one of the top blues albums of 2008 in the UK.
David has also played with the likes of Paul Jones (of Manfred Mann) and Chris Farlowe, best known for his hit single Out of Time, which made it to #1 in the UK Singles Chart in 1966.
Bristow’s business and blues are both passions in his life. But most recently he’s been involved in another worthy pursuit, this time on wheels. Following a heart attack, his friend and colleague Phil Lee encouraged him to saddle up and join him in a charitable cycling event to raise money for the British Heart Foundation. Ten Assured employees, including MD Heath Evans, slogged it out from London to Brighton, raising £2000 for the cause.
