Business Rates Giveaway

A great small business rates giveaway was tucked away in the recent budget. All Pure occupiers pay their own business rates, so they can benefit from Small Business Rates Relief if they qualify.
From October 1st the Government plans to give 100% rate relief for any qualifying premises with a rateable value below £6000, which is a big change from the current 50% relief below £5000 rateable value. The relief tapers from 100% to 0% at £12000 rateable value.
All pretty dry, but a real cash rebate from the Government.
And of course all Pure Office occupiers that qualify can benefit because we deliberately exclude business rates from our licence fees.
