Bucking the Development Trend

27/10/09

Pure Offices, providers of affordable new business space for smart companies, is bucking the trend in the serviced office market by announcing its plans to develop at least two new Pure Offices next year at Oldbury and Kidderminster in the West Midlands.
The company already owns, through its backers Highcross, the Kidderminster site, and has full planning consent for a 23,000 sq.ft serviced office development , gained just before the recession started to bite, and the company canned the proposals until the market settled.
“We have just successfully launched Pure Offices Leamington Spa, at Tachbrook Park, and have traded from our Swindon Pure Offices at Kembrey Park for the last 6 months. We have analysed the range of businesses that have rented offices from us, and observed how most of them are trading and growing successfully, despite the very challenging market conditions. As a result, we are confident that our style of affordable serviced office, offering contemporary accommodation at very affordable rents on monthly licences, is exactly what small growing businesses want to meet their needs” said Pure MD Nick Smith.
The Oldbury site is currently being acquired and subject to obtaining planning consent, Pure will start building this and the Kidderminster offices in spring 2010.
The company has ambitious plans to expand further in 2010, with the backing of Highcross, and is actively negotiating the purchase of two more sites on the M5 Motorway which it hopes to acquire and develop in 2010. Watch this space!
